Autopricing and assortment: from Excel to product

Designed tools that move complex category-manager work from spreadsheets into managed product workflows.

Context

Pricing and assortment management depended on Excel, making price approval, strategy configuration, and supplier work harder to control.

Excel → dedicated products → first users

My role

I helped the product manager define Autopricing’s structure for engineering estimation, designed the interfaces and UX prototypes, and covered core supplier and item journeys in Assortment.

What I did

We added automated price approval, a category tree and strategies; for assortment, we covered item onboarding, activity, commercial terms, and inter-branch transfers.

Status

The first users started using Autopricing. Implemented Autopricing and Assortment journeys enable managers to move work out of spreadsheets, covering price approval, strategies, supplier items, commercial terms, and inter-branch transfers. FTE reduction remains an expected rather than measured outcome.
